On Episode 30 of Comedy Anatomy, Mike and Masavia chat with a rising stand-up comedy star, Tanael Joachim, also known as TJ. Originally from Haiti and growing up speaking Creole and French, TJ learned English watching Comedy Central. We talk about how coming from Haiti has given TJ a unique perspective on the American Experience - from religion, to race, to everyday idiosyncrasies. TJ is a regular at the Comedy Cellar and the Gotham Comedy Club in NYC, and has performed at festivals all over the U.S.. Vanessa’s credits include Comedy Central Presents, Live At Jongleurs, Just for Laughs, The Jim Breuer Show (MTV), and Funny Women of a Certain Age (Showtime). She was also featured in a number of films, including the now classic cult film, Ghost Dog: The Way of the Samurai.

On this special LIVE Episode 27 of Comedy Anatomy, Masavia and Mike chat with the legendary Tony Woods at The Cutting Room in NYC. Born in North Carolina and hailing from D.C., Tony Woods is known for mentoring Dave Chappelle, was one of the original members of Russell Simmons' Def Comedy Jam, starred in P. Diddy's Bad Boys of Comedy (HBO), and more. Recently, he was featured on Tiffany Haddish's They Ready (Netflix). He's a staple at the Laugh Factory in Los Angeles, and has appeared on numerous TV shows. Most importantly, Thom has traveled around the world performing for the U.S. Armed Forces. He is himself an Iraq war veteran, and was featured in Larry Charles' Dangerous World of Comedy on Netflix. He's also a broadcaster in L.A., a musician, and a lover of cats.

Aside from being a great stand-up, Royale does it all: He's an actor, writer, producer, and director. Most recently, he's been working as a writer and consulting producer for ABC's A Million Little Things, and he executive-produced and wrote All the Way Black for BET Plus, just to name a few.

More recently, Maureen was an independent comedy producer, and is now a Vice President TV Executive putting her exceptional eye for talent to good use.

In Episode 08 of Comedy Anatomy, Masavia and Mike chat with comedian and actor John DiMaggio. Early in his career, John was part of the famed NYC-based comedy duo Red Johnny and the Round Guy. From there, he became a screen actor, and a very prolific voice actor with over 400 credits to his name, including playing Bender on Futurama, Marcus Fenix in the Gears of War franchise, and Jake the Dog on Adventure Time.
