Episode 30: Tanael Joachim (TJ)

On Episode 30 of Comedy Anatomy, Mike and Masavia chat with a rising star in stand-up comedy, Tanael Joachim, also known as TJ. Originally from Haiti and growing up speaking Creole and French, TJ learned English watching Comedy Central. We talk about how coming from Haiti has given TJ a unique perspective on the American Experience - from religion, to race, to everyday idiosyncrasies. TJ is a regular at the Comedy Cellar and the Gotham Comedy Club in NYC, and has performed at festivals all over the United States. Additionally, TJ is an op-ed contributor to the New York Times, and his special titled January 3rd is out now on Amazon Prime.
